My name is arnika (you probably figured this part out already.) I'm a bug girl (she/it), and I'm here on the internet to entertain you with things I write. A lot of those things are video games, which I also code (although I'm still learning to do that at the moment...) I hope you enjoy your time on my page! There are also a lot of other things I could tell you about myself, but I'm a professional bug girl and this is a professional website, so I'm mostly just displaying my work here. You can probably figure out a good deal of what's going on with me just by playing my games ::::3 Oh also do you wanna see my bugsona [[sure]] [[no thanks|intro late]]

The main thing that I've written that I think is worth showing off is <a href="https://arnika.itch.io/ladylucretia">Lady Lucretia's Mendacious Malpractice</a>, a VN I wrote and coded in association with [[CHIMERACOR]], a.k.a myself, my partner <a href="https://elliebup.tumblr.com">Ellie</a>, and my friend <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@knifefightpuppy">Beatrix</a>. <img src="https://img.itch.zone/aW1nLzI4NDU3MDY3LnBuZw==/original/DmdHja.png" width=900> It's about bug women in the Edwardian era having messy lesbian dalliances while taking (or ignoring) advice from strange time-travelling goo daemons. An earlier version of this website (before I knew what twine was) existed as far back as 2021, and contained various stuff I wrote. I'm not really proud of most of it, so I've made the decision to delete it from the site and start anew now that I'm making more professional-looking works as part of a team. Except for <a href="https://arnika.neocities.org/artemis">this piece about the Artemis program I wrote for college</a>. I still like that, so feel free to read it if you want...
